I'm looking to eliminate heated plastic, so I bought this because it was advertised as such. However the lid is entirely plastic.

At first glance the cup looked fine, but once opened it had a strong chemical smell and the workmanship was poor, especially the mirror-plated lid, which looks like piled-up chemical coating. The U.S. price is double China’s, totally not worth it. Customer service made the return even worse: slow replies, asking for photos to “prove unused” so they can resell, nothing like proper U.S. after-sales support, and most ridiculous is they say the chemical smell is normal... WTH???. Overall a very disappointing experience. I refuse to be taken for a fool.

I've been looking for a travel 12 oz mug. One that will not spill when I am driving or moving around. Yet still be able to drink a latte nicely. I love this mug. I highly recommend it!
